FER (Ferrovie Emilia Romagna) is a private limited company, which shares are entirely owned by Public Institutions.
Our share capital is 29.290.000 €.
The Emilia-Romagna Region with almost 87% of the shares is the main shareholder; ACT follows with 11% and the 8 provinces of Bologna, Ferrara, Mantova, Modena, Parma, Ravenna, Reggio Emilia and Rimini hold 0,15% each.
With the completion of the process wanted by the Emilia-Romagna Region that, led all the former rail companies to one, our share capital increased significantly, from 890.888 € of july 2008 to 29.290.888 € of March 2009.
